This role is for a qualified Speech Therapist to join our dedicated team of professionals who provide high-quality services to children aged 0-10 years and their families. Our team works within a transdisciplinary Key Worker Model, using a Transdisciplinary Practice (TDP) approach.
- We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist who can work collaboratively with our team to deliver individual and group clinical work in clinic and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assess and treat children aged 0-10 years with communication and swallowing disorders, providing evidence-based interventions to support their developmental and therapeutic needs.
- To collaborate with other Allied Health professionals as part of the transdisciplinary Key Worker Model to ensure comprehensive care for children and their families.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that promote the capacity building of children, families, and communities.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
- To participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
- Eligible membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Experience working with children aged 0-10 years with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
