Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Community Partnership Lead.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships with community organisations, government departments, and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in community development or a related field, with demonstrated experience in community engagement, partnership development, and volunteer management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strengthening community partnerships and stakeholder management
  • Establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with community organisations, government departments, and internal stakeholders
  • Facilitating consistent communication and collaboration between Council and community partners
  • Leading and coordinating Council's volunteer management portfolio
  • Contributing to developing and delivering plans

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in community development or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in community engagement, partnership development, and volunteer management
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of community development principles and current trends in volunteering
