This role involves partnering with families in their local communities to enhance their capacity and connect them with relevant resources. Using a strengths-based, person-centered approach, you will help families navigate the early years ecosystem, build confidence, and foster relationships that promote child development and family well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing one-on-one support to parents to help them achieve their goals
- Linking families with community services and resources
- Supporting families to engage confidently with early childhood education, health, and social services
- Facilitating small groups and playgroups to encourage social connections and shared learning
- Building strong relationships with local service providers

Requirements:- Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Work, or a related field
- Experience working with diverse families, including those from refugee and migrant backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with families and service providers
- Experience facilitating group programs and workshops
- Commitment to child safety, equity, inclusion, and cultural safety
