Ogilvy Sydney seeks a highly skilled Strategic Account Growth Specialist to lead one of its largest and most dynamic accounts. This role offers unparalleled growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a creative agency, with a proven track record in developing through-the-line creative solutions and campaign productions. You will be responsible for managing teams, lifting colleagues, supporting workload management, and championing exceptional work.

Key Responsibilities
  • BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS: Develop open, honest, and trusting relationships with clients, account management teams, creative departments, and other agency partners.
  • CREATING OPPORTUNITIES: Foster a culture that supports creative development, understanding how it delivers business challenges.
  • TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION: Work alongside a team to ensure that teamwork and collaboration are at the forefront of the process.
  • CLIENT UNDERSTANDING: Develop a thorough understanding of the client's brand and competitive environment to drive strategy and add value to the relationship.
  • INTERNAL STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality results, including peers across departments and disciplines.
  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Manage the professional growth of direct reports, providing feedback, coaching, and efficient delegation.
  • CLIENT COMMUNICATION: Establish a strong relationship with the client, keeping them informed about ongoing work.
Experience & Skills
  • At least two years of experience in a creative agency.
  • Experience in developing through-the-line creative solutions and campaign productions, particularly in broadcast, digital, and print.
  • Able to lead clients, not just react to briefs, anticipate their needs, and find solutions.
  • Strong ability to build agency inter-departmental and external agency relationships.
  • Sound financial management skills.
  • Demonstrate resilience, confidence, and tenacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation abilities, including effective influence/persuasion skills.
  • Able to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Able to be a good judge of creative work in terms of factual accuracy and relevance to the brief.
