The primary objective of this role is to drive strategic growth and enhance our market presence within the Australian Telecommunications sector as a Strategic Business Growth Specialist.

This specialist will be tasked with identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for our suite of services and products within the Connect Business Unit. This involves creating and executing tailored business development strategies for key markets and customers, ensuring alignment with industry trends and emerging technologies.

The role requires managing pricing and service support for business development clients, contributing to the overall Connect Business Unit strategy. Key responsibilities include building and managing a pipeline of new and ongoing customers, creating bespoke proposals and tenders, managing existing accounts to increase spend, and providing analytical reporting of the sales process.

To succeed in this position, you'll need 3-5 years of experience in new business sales, preferably within the telecommunications industry. Knowledge of domestic telecommunications sectors, including cloud-based communication platforms, VoIP, PSTN/SIP Trunking, and networking, is highly desirable. You should possess exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a passion for pursuing and securing new business opportunities.

Occasional travel may be required for partner meetings, conferences, and industry events.
