Drive Business Expansion in Logistics SectorThe ideal candidate for this role will be a strategic sales professional with a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain operations, capable of leading new business growth in the dynamic logistics industry. Key responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and handover while ensuring seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities- Sales Performance: Win new business with key logistics clients to meet growth targets
- Value Proposition Development: Create tailored sales plans and value-based proposals for each prospect
- Client Onboarding: Ensure accurate onboarding, billing setup, and first-90-day service monitoring
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong ongoing pipeline
- Performance Reporting: Report on performance of key prospects, quotes & tenders submitted and newly secured business
- Market Insights: Provide market insights for targeted business development activity
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with external stakeholders
- Customer Retention: Maximise client's share of wallet
- Proven experience in logistics, transport or supply chain environments
- Demonstrable history of new business development
- Strong commercial acumen and solution-based selling skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to build relationships within an organisation
- Self-driven, organised and detail-oriented
- Effective presentation skills and interpersonal communication
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
