This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic sales professional with logistics and supply chain expertise to lead business growth in a dynamic industry.

About the Role

The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying and securing new key accounts across various logistics services. They will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and handover—collaborating closely with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Winning new business with key logistics clients to meet growth targets
  • Develop tailored sales plans and value-based proposals for each prospect
  • Ensure accurate onboarding, billing setup, and first-90-day service monitoring
  • Maintain a strong ongoing pipeline
  • Report on performance of key prospects, quotes & tenders submitted and newly secured business
  • Provide market insights for targeted and intentional business development activity
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders
  • Maximise client's share of wallet
What You Will Bring
  • Proven experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain environments
  • Demonstrable history of new business development
  • Strong commercial acumen and solution-based selling skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple layers within an organisation
  • Self-driven, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Effective presentation skills & interpersonal communication
  • Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
