About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Strategy Professional to join our team as an Aggregates Division Financial Expert. This is a critical role in driving the financial performance of Holcim Australia's Aggregates division.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial guidance, supporting business decisions, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including forecasts and budgets; conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their needs and provide strategic financial advice; support the development and implementation of business strategies; identify areas for cost savings and process improvements; evaluate investment opportunities and develop business cases.
  • Project Management: Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required; support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Chartered Accountant (GAA Member e.g. CA ANZ) with at least five years industry experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the resources, industrial services, engineering, or construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for driving business performance and a commitment to sustainability.
