About this role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Strategist to join our team in North Sydney, Australia.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability within our Aggregates division.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their needs and provide strategic financial advice.
  • Support the development and implementation of business strategies, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and develop business cases.
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including forecasts and budgets.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.

About You:

  • You hold a Chartered Accountant (GAA Member e.g. CA ANZ) qualification with at least five years industry experience.
  • You have proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the resources, industrial services, engineering, or construction industry.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are passionate about driving business performance and committed to sustainability.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around AU$120,000 per annum, plus benefits such as a comprehensive salary sacrifice program, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional development and career growth.
