Job Overview

We're looking for an ambitious Business Account Executive to join our high-performing team in Sydney. This is a developmental role ideal for candidates building a career in Account Management within the FMCG industry.

The successful candidate will play a key support role within the National Account Team, ensuring customer channel strategies are implemented with excellence. The role serves as a link between the Support Office and Field Team, guaranteeing executional excellence at store level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage internal trade spend processes and submittals with customers
  • Manage customer activations (such as off-location activities)
  • Product promotional forecasting and customer forecast collaboration
  • Manage promotional evaluation for nominated customers
  • Maintain customer range lists
  • Process customer requests for images/product samples
  • Relationship management with relevant retailer contacts in Tier 1 customers
  • Customer management with allocated Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers – support National Account Manager
  • Ensure account priorities are efficiently communicated to the field team
  • Assist with product range reviews and ad-hoc presentations
  • New product launch planning
  • Support new business development

Requirements

  • Degree qualifications preferred
  • Experience within the FMCG or Retail Industry (in roles such as a Territory Manager, Category Analyst, or Brand Activation)
  • Numerically savvy/commercial acumen
  • Team player
  • Able to balance multiple tasks – administration support for a National Account Manager as well as customer-facing duties managing a specific customer portfolio
  • Eager to learn

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
