As an Accounts Payable Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the creditor ledger, processing supplier invoices, and organising payments. You will also work closely with creditors to reconcile monthly statements and resolve any issues.
In this role, you will be the key point of contact for all account payable matters, validating and processing invoices, and managing the purchase order system. You will also provide training to new users as required.
Responsibilities- Be the key point of contact for all account payable matters
- Validate and process invoices, and organise payment runs
- Creditor maintenance and reconciliations
- Manage and maintain the purchase order system, including staff training
- Organise competition prizes and other related payments
- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
- Experience in the end-to-end Accounts Payable processes
- Completed tertiary accounting education
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite and ERP system, especially in creditors module
- Understanding of relevant tax obligations and reporting requirements
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong focus on providing excellent service to internal and external clients
- Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia
