Business Development Manager, Produce QLD

CHEP is a global leader in supply chain equipment pooling, and we're seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our team in QLD. As a key member of our Sales and Customer Solutions team, you'll play a crucial role in growing our produce channel revenue with new customers and new platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand our customer base through cold calling, industry research, and networking at events.
  • Manage the sales funnel using Salesforce to track opportunities and review progress monthly.
  • Extend our current offering by meeting with key decision-makers, understanding their requirements, and proposing solutions that highlight the advantages of CHEP's products.
  • Innovate and grow by exploring new markets and applications for our products, driving growth through innovative supply chain solutions.

What We're Looking For:

  • A completed, relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Solid working history in a sales/customer-facing role, ideally within fresh produce.
  • Ability to engage customers to accurately identify business needs/problems to solve.
  • Ability to close deals quickly and effectively with win/win outcomes.
  • Ability to engage with senior decision-makers and business owners, building trusted partnerships.
  • Basic computer literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce.
  • Solid commercial acumen.
  • Ability to articulate the features & benefits of a product and service.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve results.
