As a Commercial Growth Specialist for the Produce channel in QLD, you will be responsible for growing revenue with new customers and new platforms with existing customers. This role involves expanding the customer base through cold calling, industry research, and networking at events.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Expanding the Customer Base: Engage with potential clients through targeted marketing efforts and leverage existing partnerships to drive growth.
  • Managing the Sales Funnel: Utilize Salesforce to track opportunities, review progress monthly, and follow up on leads from marketing efforts and partnerships.
  • Extending the Current Offering: Meet with key decision-makers to understand their requirements and propose solutions that highlight the advantages of CHEP's products.
  • Innovating and Growing: Explore new markets and applications for CHEP's products, driving growth through innovative supply chain solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Solid working history in a Sales or Customer-facing role, ideally within Fresh Produce
  • Ability to engage customers to accurately identify business needs/problems to solve
  • Ability to close deals quickly and effectively with win/win outcomes
  • Ability to engage with senior decision-makers and business owners, building trusted partnerships
  • Basic computer literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce
  • Sound commercial acumen
  • Ability to articulate the features & benefits of a product and service
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve results
