About the Role:
Talented Group is on the lookout for driven, experienced, and results-oriented Strategic Partnerships Managers to enhance their team. You will play a pivotal role in managing and fostering relationships with mortgage brokers and aggregators, primarily within New South Wales but also on a national scale. Your focus will be on driving business expansion through the development of strategic partnerships and increasing our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Management & Business Growth

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including State Managers and BDMs, ensuring our offerings remain top of mind.
  • Design and implement business strategies for designated accounts and regions to meet growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities while collaborating with internal teams to maximize business development initiatives.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor actions, and industry shifts to uncover potential opportunities and challenges.

Marketing and Outreach

  • Work closely with the marketing department to create and execute campaigns aimed at mortgage brokers and aggregators.
  • Represent Talented Group at industry events, conferences, and professional development days, promoting our brand and generating leads.
  • Lead negotiations for annual sponsorship agreements to secure optimal outcomes for the organization.
  • Develop and deliver educational content, such as webinars, tailored to our partners' needs.
  • Provide training and support to customers and partners, consistently driving product advocacy.

Reporting and Evaluation

  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM, documenting all meetings and interactions with accounts.
  • Prepare regular updates and presentations for senior leadership regarding business development progress.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and inform strategic business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar business development or sales role, preferably within financial services or fintech.
  • Experience collaborating with finance brokers is advantageous.
  • A strong network within the mortgage broker and aggregator landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to recognize and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Self-driven, results-focused, and capable of independent work.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
