About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled People Partnerships Manager to join our team at The Star Entertainment Group. As a key member of our People Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business outcomes through strategic people partnerships.

As a Strategic People Advisor, you will collaborate closely with our corporate and operational functions to align them with our wider people strategy. You will have no direct reports but will manage your own portfolio, developing leadership capabilities and ensuring regulatory and governance requirements are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Embracing collaboration between functional and property leaders to deliver a consistent, efficient, and proactive strategic people agenda
  • Partnering closely with leaders to ensure the People agenda is a priority and solutions meet the unique needs of the group or department
  • Prioritizing and partnering in building financially sound recommendations across all aspects of People & Performance (P&P)
  • Understanding the root cause of leadership needs and gathering insights to inform the design and rollout of P&P initiatives
  • Coaching, developing, and empowering leaders to perform as leaders, educating them on the People operating model

What We're Looking For

  • Proven work experience in a People Advisory role
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, or Organizational Development
  • Strong relationship, coaching, influencing, and communication skills to build leadership teams
  • Demonstrates a proactive business partnership, driven by a self-starter mindset and an unwavering can-do attitude

You are a natural collaborator and communicator, able to understand and explain complex business requirements and strategy. You appreciate the unique needs of each business unit and are able to leverage your experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated work environment.
