Administrative Support Officer

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team at Hunter Valley Private Hospital. As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and patients, ensuring the smooth operation of our reception desk and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the reception desk, including answering and redirecting calls, and coordinating appointments and admission paperwork.
- Organize and maintain accurate and effective record management systems, including preparation of medical records.
- Perform Health Fund Checks as required and manage the collection of excesses/co payments.
- Coordinate with staff from other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Hunter Valley Private Hospital is a 83-bed facility located on the fringe of Newcastle, offering a range of surgical, medical and rehabilitation services. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment for our staff.
