About the Role
At WNS Global Services, we're seeking a skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless claim resolution experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lodge new insurance claims for customers and intermediaries, utilizing your analytical skills to determine coverage and make informed decisions.
- Elevate the customer experience by setting clear expectations and effectively communicating how the claim will be managed.
- Negotiate and collect customer excess, providing education on payment options as needed.
- Manage financial outcomes impacting claims costs through application of correct policy limits and applicable laws.
- Respond to customer, supplier, and third-party enquiries on existing claims, focusing on cost management and timely resolution.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Commerce (desired).
- 1-2 years' experience in general insurance, preferably in a call center environment.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to convey information coherently and confidently.
- Ability to use own judgment and analysis to develop solutions and courses of action.
