This role will provide an introduction to working in Logistics at AWS. You'll collaborate with Data Centre Operations and Engineering teams to ensure reliable functioning and repair activities to support our customers, adhering to operational tenants of safety, security, and availability.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining inventory levels to ensure stock items are available for build and repair activities.
  • Receiving parts, checking shipments, and issuing parts as needed for internal customers.
  • Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different sites.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records for all items within our care.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces using 5S principles.

A day in this role will be spent carrying out Logistical support functions for our Data Centers. This involves physical control and processing of spare parts transactions, consumables stock replenishment, and cycle counting of stock. Some travel between sites may be required, and owning transport to travel between sites is necessary. Working hours may include evenings and weekends on occasion.

What You'll Need

  • A current NSW driver's license.
  • The ability to work on-call rotation as required.
  • The ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of the role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Forklift license.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
