Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide occupational rehabilitation services and support clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client caseloads and provide individualized support to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs in collaboration with employers and employees.
  • Work with medical and allied health professionals to assess and address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for clients.
  • Conduct various assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments, to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, and identify suitable employment opportunities.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • General or Provisional Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors ASORC or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia RCAA as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded.
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role.
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is mandatory.
