Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide individualized support to help them achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Apply your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes and develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive support;
  • Assist clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes through a variety of assessments and interventions;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors ASORC or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia RCAA as a Rehabilitation Counsellor;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service;
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
