About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide individualized support to help them achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
  • Apply your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes and develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive support.
  • Assist clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes through a variety of assessments, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology.
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA or with ESSA plus SIRA Accreditation.
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded.
  • Fabulous communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Compassion and kindness, with the ability to empathize with clients and stakeholders.
  • Well-developed time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
