Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate professional to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. In this role, you will work with clients to identify goals and develop strategies to overcome physical and psychological barriers to employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client caseloads, providing support and guidance to achieve return to health and work outcomes;
  • Collaborate with employers, medical professionals, and allied health experts to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities;
  • Work across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third party, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, employers, and medical professionals to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Social Work;
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA or membership with AASW;
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, employers, and medical professionals;
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
