Job Description

Job Title: Front Office Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, leading a team to ensure smooth reception operations, and providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Front Desk team to ensure efficient and effective reception operations
  • Assist the Duty Manager in reviewing staffing rosters and deploying staff for maximum efficiency
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are cleaned on time and departures are checked out timely
  • Update the Property Management System (PMS) and use it as an expert for the Front Office area
  • Train others to use the PMS and other systems
  • Monitor performance standards and report issues or concerns as needed
  • Assist the Duty Manager in handling guest requests and complaints
  • Train all existing and new team members
  • Assist the Assistant/Front Office Manager in monitoring and checking on retro-claims
  • Implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of the Accor Values

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
  • A service-focused personality is essential
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
