About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office team at Hilton Sydney. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily guest experience and ensuring that our high standards of service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience
    • Supervise and lead the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay.
    • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of the guest.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest services.
  • Operations Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the Front Office, including check-in, check-out, and guest services.
    • Manage the Front Office team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to Front Office team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
    • Identify and develop opportunities for team members to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
    • Contribute to the development of the Front Office team's skills and knowledge through training and development programs.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Previous supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
    • Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and leading high-performing teams.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
  • Education and Certifications
    • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications or training in hospitality management.
