About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager - Front Office to join our team at Pullman Sydney Olympic Park. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of guest service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service and ensure that all interactions with guests are positive and productive.
  • Front Office Operations: Oversee and support the daily operations of Front Office and other departments as required.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Drive KPIs including guest satisfaction, loyalty sign ups and upselling.
  • Problem Solving: Actively resolve guest requests, complaints and challenges.
  • Front Office Activities: Assist with front office activities from check-in to check-out and everything in between, while ensuring all procedures are adhered to.
  • Brand Standards: Maintain brand standards and ensure that all aspects of the hotel are presented in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Rostering and Payroll: Support the Front Office Manager in rostering while working within a budgeted payroll.
  • Health and Safety: Be responsible for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff members.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role or environment, preferably in mid-scale or luxury hotels.
  • Guest Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to 'surprise' our guests and provide exceptional guest service.
  • Confidence and Communication: Confidence and the ability to delight and resolve guest issues.
  • Time Management and Multi-Tasking: Time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Security Awareness: High security awareness.
  • Software and Systems: Experience in Opera Cloud preferred.
  • Certifications: MUST have a current NSW RSA and Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Transportation: Open manual driver's license is advantageous.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays as per business demands.
