Payroll Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our end-to-end payroll operations with precision and flair. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Operations Leadership: Oversee and direct payroll procedures, supervise a payroll team, and resolve payroll issues.
- Compliance and Control: Implement and monitor local payroll controls, ensuring compliance with the latest rules and regulations.
- Team Management: Provide direction and coaching to your team, focusing on performance metrics and KPIs.
- Communication and Administration: Handle payroll communications and administration efficiently.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and analyze payroll practices for process improvements.
- Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain payroll documentation for audits and compliance checks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience leading a payroll team with a strong understanding of Australian statutory taxes and benefits.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of global payroll best practices.
- Leadership: Confident leader able to work with Finance and Operations Directors and provide excellent customer service.
- Tech Savvy: Experience with system design and implementation.
- Qualifications: Degree in a business-related discipline; CPP certification is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
