About the Role:
The Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the global operations of TikTok's HR department. This position will be responsible for assisting in the daily payroll department operations, preparing payroll data, reports, and new-hire employee information, and responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing daily payroll department operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll data.
- Prepare and review payroll reports, including payroll data, tax withholdings, and benefits information.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to resolve payroll-related issues and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and database programs to ensure seamless payroll-related integration.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of in-house payroll experience, with a focus on international payroll operations.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in Mexico, including tax withholdings and benefits.
