About the Company

Our client is a leading manufacturer located in the South-Eastern suburbs, seeking immediate assistance within their payroll department due to an uptick in workload.

About the Role


The primary function of the Payroll Operations Expert is to guarantee the prompt and precise processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls, adhering to various enterprise agreements. This role is embedded within a dynamic HR team and follows a hybrid work model of four days in the office and one day working remotely. Your key responsibilities include:

Oversee complete payroll processing, including onboarding, offboarding, and redundancy management.Interpret awards and accurately apply organizational policies.Conduct month-end payroll processing and reconcile payroll accounts, including superannuation, payroll tax, and WorkCover.Generate payroll reports and provide responsive support for payroll-related inquiries.Maintain payroll and timekeeping systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Calculate bonuses and allowances, ensuring correct wage and tax withholdings.
About You

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a comprehensive payroll function.Familiarity with Micropay and other payroll software.Experience in interpreting Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA) and awards is essential.High attention to detail with a proven track record of quality and accuracy.Proactive in research, analysis, and problem-solving.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.A true team player.Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel.
