Six Degrees Executive is a prominent manufacturer located in the South-Eastern suburbs, currently seeking additional support for their payroll division due to an uptick in workload.

About the Role


The Payroll Operations Expert plays a crucial role in ensuring the precise and timely execution of payroll on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis, adhering to various enterprise agreements. This position is integrated within a dynamic HR team and follows a hybrid work model of four days in the office and one day remote. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Overseeing comprehensive payroll processing, which encompasses onboarding, offboarding, and redundancy procedures. Accurately interpreting awards and implementing company policies. Executing month-end payroll processing and reconciling payroll-related accounts (including superannuation, payroll tax, and WorkCover). Producing payroll reports and addressing payroll-related inquiries effectively. Maintaining payroll and timekeeping systems to ensure compliance and accuracy. Calculating bonuses and allowances while ensuring correct wage and tax deductions. About You
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a full-cycle payroll role. Familiarity with Micropay and other payroll software. Proficient in interpreting Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA) and awards. Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative team player.
