Head of Equipment Operations

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our equipment management efforts at Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen. This role is pivotal in optimizing our assets, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting GYG's operational and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy that aligns with GYG's commercial and sustainability goals.
- Lead safety and compliance efforts to ensure equipment standards meet health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop and manage asset lifecycle strategies, including inventory management and procurement processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate and manage equipment procurement.
- Design and implement a national preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Analyze performance data and provide insights to recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in equipment management, preferably in QSR or foodservice. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance, Operations Management, or a related field, and a proven track record of success in equipment management and safety compliance.
Requirements:
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with PPM and inventory software.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve business objectives.
