In this dynamic role, you will provide high-level administrative support to senior executives within the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. With a focus on business operations and corporate services, you will play a key part in facilitating the delivery of business objectives.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for managing competing priorities, providing consistently high levels of support, and maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Assessing and prioritising requests to facilitate optimal use of executive time
  • Managing diaries, records, correspondence, travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, and supporting agenda management
  • Drafting and preparing correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations, briefing notes, and other materials to support business requirements
  • Gathering, collating, and providing background information for informed decision-making and planning
  • Maintaining and updating administrative practices, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery
About You:
  • A person capable of managing competing priorities and providing high levels of support, with heavy workloads, short deadlines, and a need to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion
  • An individual who can adapt to changing circumstances, is proactive, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
