Job DescriptionThe Rooms Division Instructor plays a crucial role in the development and training of Post Graduate Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School students. You'll manage the day-to-day operational function of our purpose-built front office desks and train students during Housekeeping and Front Office practical sessions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Front Office and Housekeeping training to students
- Guarantee students' equipment and supplies are ready for shifts
- Organise rosters for students to cover the campus front desk
- Assist with implementing standard operating policies and procedures
- Work closely with the academic team
You'll have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional education and training experiences.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Demonstrated experience as a manager or supervisor within Front Office in a 4-5-star hotel/resort environment
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping services is ideal but can be trained
- A passion to develop and train others
- Completion of a Certificate IV Hospitality or equivalent, and Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40110) desirable
