Business Development Manager

Komatsu America Corp. is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our products in the Western Australia market. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your industry knowledge and sales expertise to identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
- Own all sales processes from initial contact to proactively managing new and existing clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth targets and expand Komatsu market share.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Manage customer relations to achieve value in use from our products aligned with other business units.
- Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end Sales Process while regularly providing feedback on customer and market trends.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Extensive experience in business development and technical sales, preferably relating to the mining industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the Mining industry, market trends, and competitors.
- Familiarity with Mining technology and the ability to understand customer needs.
- Tertiary qualifications in business or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and clients at all levels within an organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver successful customer outcomes with multiple priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously to meet business expectation, KPI's, and customer targets.
- Extensive administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy to ensure contracts represent the requirements of both parties to the agreement.
- Experience with MS Office suite, Salesforce, Sharepoint, and their use.
