As a Data Center Customer Operations Engineer at Equinix, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time, permanent position with a global company leader in the data center industry.

This is an entry-level opportunity for TAFE graduates, offering a comprehensive training program that equips you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role. Key responsibilities include:

  • Install and configure network devices, including rack and stack of equipment such as routers, servers, switches, and firewalls from various brands.
  • Install software updates and security patches for customer equipment.
  • Provide remote technical support via phone calls, email communication, and web applications for emergency network outages and troubleshooting of network equipment, switches, and servers.

We are looking for individuals with technical aptitude, a commitment to teamwork, and a positive attitude. Candidates should have completed a TAFE NSW certification in IT or Telco related course and possess hands-on experience or understanding of fiber optics. Customer service experience is highly regarded.
