Electrical Engineer for Data Center Operations

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Colo Regional Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our data center operations team, you will be responsible for providing full life-cycle support to our data centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Work with colo vendors to review designs for new data centers, including design input, submittal review, and incorporating AWS products to ensure designs meet AWS expectations.
- Act as resident engineer during new colo construction projects, supporting construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for site/equipment failures, creating corrective action (CA) documentation.
- Provide technical support for existing data center upgrades and design solutions, adding capacity, improving availability, and increasing efficiency.
- Support operating partners to lead, review, and approve designs for existing co-location (colo) data center upgrades, improving availability/efficiency.
You will interact with diverse teams responsible for all aspects of our data centers, prioritizing activities to support data center capacity availability and safety. You will have opportunities to work on projects locally and globally.
What We Offer- A competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
