Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Colo Regional Engineer to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will provide full life-cycle support to data centers, from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. This role requires strong engineering judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Work with colo vendors to review designs for new data centers, ensuring they meet AWS expectations
- Act as resident engineer during construction projects, supporting commissioning and handover
- Troubleshoot site/equipment failures, creating corrective action documentation
- Support operational issues with ad-hoc training, complex procedure reviews, and event support
- Provide technical support for existing data center upgrades, improving availability and efficiency
- Interface with various teams to promote standards and consistency
About the Role

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 6+ cumulative years of experience in industrial or commercial engineering for mission-critical facilities
- Organized, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines and budget
- Direct experience with data center design, construction, operation, or maintenance
