About the Opportunity

The Membership Team Lead at Fitness First Canberra is responsible for driving member engagement and sales growth. This role leads a team of Member Support Consultants to achieve sales targets, enhance customer service, and optimize front desk operations.

As a motivational leader, you will mentor your team, provide coaching, and set goals to ensure exceptional service delivery. With excellent sales expertise, organizational capabilities, and a passion for customer service, you will create a thriving club where members can reach their fitness goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily workflow of the MSC team to meet monthly sales targets and maintain high-quality customer service.
  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets to contribute to team success.
  • Create strategies to ensure the MSC team meets daily performance criteria.
  • Deliver sales training to develop the MSC team's skills.
  • Drive member retention and growth by achieving budgeted targets on a monthly basis.
  • Respond to member inquiries within 24 hours via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Collaborate with the Club Manager and Regional Manager to develop initiatives that drive membership growth.

About You

  • Demonstrate proven sales and customer service experience, with a strong track record of meeting KPIs.
  • Showcase understanding of the sales cycle, various sales techniques, including up-selling and cross-selling.
  • HIGHLIGHT PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER JOURNEY MANAGEMENT AND RETENTION STRATEGIES.
  • Prioritize managing and mentoring a team, setting and motivating others towards shared goals.
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize business computer systems and hold current First Aid and CPR certificates.
