Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the occupational therapy profession, including current trends and emerging issues. They will lead the development and implementation of practice quality standards, practice governance, resources, and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical Leadership
- Provide clinical content, input, and review to the design and delivery of services across the organisation to ensure services are evidence-based and clinically sound.
- Resource Development
- Develop and design resources for the profession that are aligned with evidence-based best practice and policy directions of Commonwealth and State/Territory Governments.
- Program Management
- Contribute to the development, management, and governance of OTA practice-based programs.
- Learning and Development
- Develop evidence-based learning and development resources and packages for the profession, aligned with practice standards, policy, and member feedback.
- Advisory Services
- Provide best practice advice to members and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Management
- Lead the development and implementation of practice quality standards, practice governance, processes, and tools.
- Team Leadership
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, and represent OTA at interagency forums and attend relevant meetings as required.
- Performance Management
- Actively participate in, and facilitate as required, nationally-based or project-specific committees.
- Reporting
- Prepare and issue reports to key stakeholders to enable effective decision-making and planning.
