We are seeking an experienced Venue Operations Director to join our team at The Beresford, a popular neighborhood pub in Sydney's Surry Hills area.

About the Role

The Venue Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of The Beresford, including management of staff, finances, and guest experience.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across all areas of the venue
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, and develop solutions to enhance the guest experience

  • A strong background in operations management, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • A passion for delivering outstanding results, with a focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
