This is a high-impact role where you will play a critical part in ensuring our service providers deliver top-notch services that meet our standards and strategic objectives.
You will work closely with operational teams and colleagues to oversee the performance of our key vendors, guaranteeing service levels are met, risks are managed, and continuous improvement opportunities are realized.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Leading regular vendor performance reviews and governance forums, addressing any penalties or escalations.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with approved service providers.
- Oversight of vendor compliance with contractual agreements, SLAs, and risk and governance frameworks.
- Supporting operational teams with budgeting, contract renewals, and vendor selection processes.
- Reviewing invoices and ensuring billing accuracy against agreements.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance service quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Providing clear reporting and insights to stakeholders on vendor performance and outcomes.
To succeed in this position, you must have:
- Experience in vendor or third-party service management, preferably within financial services or a regulated industry.
- Strong relationship management skills, capable of influencing and negotiating with stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach to monitoring performance, managing risk, and driving improvement.
- Strong governance and commercial awareness, confident in handling budgets and contracts.
