Job Title: Strategic Partnership Manager

As a seasoned partnership manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and development of key strategic partnerships across the business.

The purpose of this role is to facilitate direction, management and expansion of our key strategic payment partnerships consisting of schemes, vendors and other ecosystem participants across acquiring and issuing.

This role requires someone who can effectively manage internal change and key stakeholders to influence partnership outcomes that benefit the wider business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing long-term strategies for key partnerships with payment schemes and ecosystem participants.
  • Leading internal engagement and stakeholder management to educate and build advocacy for partnership initiatives.
  • Effectively leading and coordinating internal change projects across the business.
  • Partnering with functional owners to ensure Afterpay receives agreed benefits and delivers on its commitments.
  • Operationalising commercial arrangements with payment partners to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborating with other business units to identify and pursue new partnership opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Retail, eCommerce, Finance, Start-up or Partner management roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders and partners with minimal oversight.
  • Advanced relationship management skills with expertise in building and maintaining enterprise relationships.
  • Ability to develop business plans from scratch to drive key business initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the payments ecosystem, key players and interrelationships.
  • Strong organisational change management and influencing skills.
