We are seeking an experienced and visionary HR leader to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. As a Strategic HR Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth through innovative people strategies, fostering a positive employer-employee relationship, and promoting employee engagement and motivation.

About the Role:

This is a senior leadership position that requires strong leadership skills, experience in talent acquisition and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of local labor laws and HR practices in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic HR plans that align with the company's business objectives
  • Partner with management to provide proactive, commercially focused, and high-quality HR support
  • Lead organization effectiveness and talent development initiatives, including organization design, talent reviews, succession planning, and career development conversations
  • Design and deliver core HR service excellence, including payroll management, HR reporting and analysis, employee benefits administration, and employee life cycle management
  • Foster positive trusted relationships between employees, management, customers, and partners using our Tiffany values to guide day-to-day behaviors and decisions
  • Maintain company policies, procedures, and handbooks in line with current employment law and best practice
  • Develop strategies and tactics to address under-performing employees consistent within the region and the organization
  • Leverage functional expertise to ensure consistent and fair resolution of complex employee relations situations

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of HR managerial experience, including being an HR function head and business partner to Managing Director
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR practices in Australia and New Zealand
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing diversity
  • Proven experience in leading diverse teams (Talent Acquisition/Development and HR operations)
  • Strong consultative, coaching, communication, and influence skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR service delivery
  • Excellent influence, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, follow-up, and creative solution generation skills
  • General business acumen, analytical, and numerate
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and HRIS (Oracle or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
