Company Overview

PeopleCorp, a public sector organisation, is undergoing a period of transformation. To support this change, they require an experienced Interim HR Director to lead the HR function on an interim basis.

About the Role

As Strategic Generalist HR Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving business objectives through effective HR strategies. Working closely with the executive team and highly experienced managers, your areas of responsibility will include implementing strategic initiatives, supporting organisational activities, managing a small team of HR professionals, and overseeing recruitment, talent management, employee relations, and learning needs assessments.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the HR team
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Manage recruitment, talent management, and employee relations processes
  • Assess learning needs and develop training programs
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require 8+ years of experience at a senior level, with a proven track record of operational HR work, ER expertise, and union liaison experience. Previous experience in a public sector organisation is desirable.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
