Strategic Workforce Director

This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking leader to join UNSW Australia as the Director of Workforce Strategy and Planning. As a key member of the University Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education by driving the development of a highly skilled and committed workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret the needs of our workforce, identifying opportunities to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive planning tools, in collaboration with internal and external key stakeholders.
- Partner with Deans, School Leaders, Directors, and HR partners to drive strategic workforce planning and development.
- Lead the development of a highly skilled and committed team, ready to navigate the evolving educational landscape with agility and insight.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic workforce plans.
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with workforce planning tools and HR systems.
