Learning and Development Team Lead

At an organisation dedicated to empowering employees, we strive to foster a culture of continuous growth and learning. As our Learning and Development Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of organisational learning.

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our team in driving culture, learning and growth initiatives that meet regulatory requirements, align with our capability framework and support talent development and succession planning.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic learning plans that create a constructive culture of continuous learning, embedding 70:20:10 learning principles.
  • Use data insights to inform solutions that build capability and performance, ensuring effective learning outcomes across the employee life cycle.
  • Optimise learning spend and support learning aligned with organisational strategies and plans.
  • Support the development and implementation of organisational development and change initiatives.
  • Enable a diverse and inclusive workforce through impactful learning initiatives.

Requirements include:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in human resource management or organisational development.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a learning and development team.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to agreed timelines.
  • Previous experience in creating and delivering learning packages, including instructional design to deliver measurable learning outcomes.
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with stakeholders from across a diverse workforce delivering various services.
