Primary Coordinator Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead, inspire and make a difference as our Primary Coordinator in 2026. They will work closely with the school community to develop, implement and oversee strategic learning initiatives.

This role involves collaborating with the school leadership team and colleagues to promote the school as a place of learning and excellence. The Primary Coordinator will support students in making sense of their world, to make informed decisions and judgements, and to act with moral and ethical integrity.

The Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing and overseeing strategic learning initiatives.
  • Supporting the monitoring and review of school improvement initiatives.
  • Leading, modelling and supporting the ongoing development, implementation and oversight of quality teaching programs and learning outcomes.
  • Modelling and promoting contemporary and innovative pedagogical practices.
  • Contributing to the development of a culture of collegiality and reflective practice.
