Job Overview

As a strategic learning leader, you will play a pivotal role in executing the strategy for learning and development initiatives that drive business objectives. Your expertise will focus on developing training best practices and standards, enabling their implementation across the network, and sharing results with operations leaders.

This position requires you to leverage the Learning Organisation as a lever to develop and implement standard work practices, improving Safety, Quality, and Performance results. You will also focus on T3+ leader performance and training return on investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and solve business problems by understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities.
  • Contribute to reporting on training activities and analyse data to drive results and learning effectiveness.
  • Work strategically with L&D leaders to identify innovative learning solutions, localising training programs and reducing / eliminating the need for training.
  • Drive adherence to standard learning solutions, getting feedback from operational teams on areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Create and manage the communication strategy for promoting key training processes and activities across the network, focusing on change management.
  • Develop our training strategy for leader-facing training programs with a high focus on technical skills and development.

In this role, you will possess a customer-centric mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of cross-functional working with tech and non-tech teams experience.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
