Sales Manager - Northern New South Wales (12-Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover)

Location: Northern Beaches to Byron Bay, Northern New South Wales

The Travel Corporation is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to cover the beautiful Northern New South Wales, from the Northern Beaches to Byron Bay, on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored sales and marketing strategies for key accounts, strengthening relationships with key accounts through regular contact and support, and providing comprehensive training to agents via weekly sessions, presentations, and e-commerce strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Provide training and development to agents, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to sell our products effectively.
  • Manage marketing collateral to ensure effective use and placement in key account agencies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and beneficial trade/consumer events.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities, providing feedback to management.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and CRM entries, ensuring timely reporting.
  • Foster group business from initiation to departure, maintaining agent contact throughout.
  • Manage the Sales Manager budget efficiently, adhering to company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales management and account management.
  • Experience in the tourism industry is desirable.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and provide strategic feedback.
  • Confident presenter with excellent presentation skills.
