We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Team Leader to join our team at Auto & General. As a Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated Claims Consultants to achieve exceptional levels of service delivery and high standards of quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and motivate a team of Claims Consultants to meet agreed objectives
- Lead and monitor the team to execute a high standard of service and process adherence
- Monitor and support the management of a portfolio of claims, including workload prioritisation, claim review and authorisation, technical product and process support, and performance reporting
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational activities to improve Claims performance
- Provide input into staffing requirements and recruitment
- Previous Team Leader or equivalent experience
- Extensive Home Claims experience
- Proven ability in leading and motivating people
- Demonstrated ability in managing critical stakeholder relationships
- Ability to effectively analyse and resolve problems
- A core focus on customer outcomes and relations
- Ability to innovate and be creative in developing processes and procedures
- Ability to effectively manage conflict and negotiate where required
- Location: Our North Lakes Office, with local shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance
