About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Advocate to join our team at Versent. As a key member of our Growth team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and building deep, trusted partnerships with our core and strategic customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders to drive multiple fields of play.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance across the total engagement life cycle, from pre-sales to delivery and closure.
- Identify and develop strategic account plans for growth, collaborating with Versent Solutions and Advisory Centre and Practice leads to diversify and expand service offerings.
- Develop, bid, and close new business and continuity opportunities, with a focus on delivering exceptional value and quality outcomes for our customers.
- Manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce, communicating and collaborating regularly with the Head of Services, Directors, and General Manager on all stages of the Sales Lifecycle.
- Lead the Sales stages lifecycle to develop, bid, and close opportunities, adhering to Versent's Sales, commercial, and review and approval processes.
- Identify business development opportunities on net new business lines/divisions for upcoming and future initiatives, delegating responsibility to Senior Account Managers as needed.
- Lead and manage commercial negotiations, communications, and signing of proposals, Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
- Work with partners to open new fields of play and opportunities, and lead Customer/Account level partner and supplier business development and delivery forums.
About You
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in solution sales within the enterprise/public sector market. You should have a deep understanding of delivering solutions within the Technology Domain and be able to influence at executive level, as well as have meaningful conversations at the technical layer.
Requirements
- A proven track record of delivering solutions and driving business growth in a similar role.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance customer expectations with business needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- A growth mindset, with a focus on continuous learning and development.
- Experience selling professional services is highly desirable.
